Measures to prevent infection and spread of novel coronavirus (COVID-19)

Thank you for your continuous patronage to Villa Fontaine and Village.

In consideration of the health and safety of our guests and employees as well as public health, the disinfection and sterilization measures have been taken and strengthened in the hotels as follows since January in collaboration with health centers and medical institutions based on the guidelines of the Ministry of Health, Labor and Welfare for measures against new coronavirus infections.

[Five requests to our valued guests]

1. Temperature measurement at check-in
   Use a non-contact thermometer or thermal camera. *(The thermal camera installed at the entrance of Villa Fontaine Tokyo-Shiodome detects the body temperature of not only the guests at check-in but all visitors.)
2. Fill out the questionnaire at check-in
3. Use of automatic check-in machine (payment machine)
   Speedy check-in and check-out alleviates congestion and reduces short-distance contact with employees.
4. Cooperation in gargling, hand washing, and disinfection
   Disinfectants are installed throughout the building.
5. Physical condition management of hotel guests
   In case of experiencing symptoms such as fever or cough, please speak to our staff. We will direct you to the nearest medical institution.

[Nine initiatives of facilities and employees]

1. Enforcement of wearing masks and self-health care
   ・ Wearing a mask and a faceguard to prevent droplet infection
   ・ Thorough hand washing, gargle, and disinfection
   ・ Daily temperature measurement and physical condition report
   (Employees with fever are required to stay at home for two weeks after the fever goes away.)
2. Wearing white gloves when handling luggage
3. Installing an acrylic board to prevent splashes on the front counter
4. Installing disinfectant in various places in the building
   ・ Disinfectants are installed in various places in the building such as the front desk and restrooms. All the visitors are requested to sanitize their hands.
   ・ In addition to the usual alcohol-based disinfectant, a disinfectant with a special antiviral is also installed.
5. Intensive cleaning and sterilization of common areas
   Intensive disinfection and sterilization measures have been taken in facilities that unspecified people touch, such as elevator buttons, doorknobs for shared toilets, faucets, furniture, and rental items.
6. Intensive disinfection and sterilization of guest rooms
   ・ Ozone sterilization is performed during cleaning to enhance space hygiene.
   Intensive disinfection and sterilization are performed on frequently touched parts such as doorknobs, remote controls, switches, faucets, and room keys.
   ・ Air purifiers are installed in all rooms of the entire building.
   ・ Panasonic’s space sterilization and deodorizing machine “Giaino” are equipped in certain rooms in Villa Fontaine Grand Tokyo-Shiodome, Villa Fontaine Grand Tokyo-Tamachi, Villa Fontaine Grand Tokyo- Kudanshita.
