About new coronavirus infection prevention measures

Okura Act City Hotel Hamamatsu will take the following measures for the time being to ensure the health and safety of customers and employees in response to the spread of the new coronavirus infection.

Implementation of disinfection in the hall

• Disinfectants are installed at 3 hotel entrances and at each restaurant entrance.
• In addition to normal cleaning, we also disinfect and wipe off stair railings, tables, chairs, elevator push buttons, toilet running water levers, toilet seats, etc.

Measures to prevent droplet infection

• Vinyl sheets, etc. will be installed on the front counter and the cashier counter of the restaurant to prevent droplet infection.
• At the time of payment at the front desk or restaurant, we do not give or receive money by hand, but through the cash tray.
• If necessary, we will install a face guard and provide guidance.

Ensuring social distance

• There is a limit on the number of people who can use the elevator and each facility.
• At the restaurant, we will try to secure the distance between the tables by ensuring a wide space between the tables.
• In principle, the staff will not be able to guide you to the guest room, and we will carry your baggage separately if necessary.

Suspension of meal provision in buffet style

• Breakfast is served as a set menu (Western set meal, Japanese set meal).

Initiatives for employees

• All employees wear masks when working. In addition, gloves will be worn during food and beverage services.
• Employees check their physical condition when they go to work to check for symptoms such as fever and colds.
• Employees wash their hands and disinfect their fingers every time they go to work.
• If employees and their family members have symptoms such as fever or cold, they are prohibited from going to work and are required to report promptly. In addition, the administrator will make a decision on going to work after recovery after hearing the symptoms.
• We refrain from unnecessary and unurgent movement of employees outside the prefecture.

Request to customers

• Please wear a mask when you come to the museum.
• If you have a cold symptom such as coughing or fever, please refrain from visiting the museum.
• Please disinfect your hands when you come to the museum.
• If you are staying at the hotel, please fill out the questionnaire regarding temperature measurement, health condition, overseas travel history, etc. at check-in.
• When you wait in front of the front counter or the cashier counter of the restaurant, please leave a space between customers.
• Depending on the congestion situation, we may restrict the use of restaurants and facilities.
